About Me

Sean was born and raised in South Austin. His family did not attend church regularly when he was growing up, but his parents came to faith when he was a teenager. Through the influence of his family, friends, and a youth pastor, Sean came to know Christ during his senior year of high school. On December 12, 2000, Fellowship Church’s youth pastor shared the gospel of grace with him over lunch. Sean prayed to receive Christ that day and has been following Him ever since.

Sean moved to San Marcos in 2002 to attend Texas State University, where he became involved in Campus Crusade for Christ, now known as Cru. During a Cru conference, God laid leading worship music on Sean’s heart. He began leading worship for Cru’s Thursday night campus meetings and for Fellowship Church’s youth ministry in the fall of 2002.

In the summer of 2004, Sean had the opportunity to serve as Fellowship’s worship ministry intern under a seasoned worship pastor. He learned a great deal about worship ministry, and his passion for leading worship continued to grow. That same year, Sean met his wife, Kristine, after she was invited to Fellowship by a friend and joined his small group. Sean and Kristine have now been married for 20 years and have four children.

Sean graduated from Texas State University in 2007 with a degree in Communication Studies. He and his family moved to New Braunfels in 2009 and began attending New Braunfels Bible Church that same year. In 2010, Sean assumed the role of Worship Ministry Coordinator and has faithfully served in that role ever since.

Sean has a lifelong love for music and is passionate about sharing the truth of God’s love and grace through it. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, listening to and playing acoustic guitar, spending time outdoors, traveling, and enjoying time with Kristine and their family. He is grateful that God has called him to lead the Church in worship and loves seeing God’s people grow as worshipers and deepen their understanding of His grace.
