About Me

Brian was born into a military family, allowing him to experience life in a variety of places before marrying Erin and putting down roots in Texas in 1995. He continued the family tradition of military service and spent six years in the United States Army. Brian graduated from the University of North Texas with a Business Degree with a focus in Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management. He has worked in the auto damage industry since 2000, holding a variety of roles, including area supervisor for an insurance company and as a general manager for a collision center. He currently works for a Mutual Insurance Company as a Senior Appraiser.

Brian and Erin moved to New Braunfels with their daughter Claire in 2002. Both of their sons, Ryan and Wade, were born here. The family began attending NBBC in 2004, when the church still met at the Christian Academy. Brian began serving the youth of the church in 2006 when he co-taught kindergarten Sunday School. This was just the beginning of his joy in sharing the love of Jesus with NBBC children.

Through the years, Brian has served on the Men’s Ministry Team, as a Deacon, as a Men’s Bible Study leader, been on the Drama team, played on the NBBC softball team, has taught Sunday morning children’s church, volunteered with Wednesday night youth activities and small groups, and taught middle school Sunday School. It is his great privilege to serve as Ascend Youth Ministry Leader.

Brian has always made his family his priority. He had fun coaching little league baseball, taking karate with his sons, and even participating as Drosselmeyer in the Nutcracker so he could spend more time with his daughter during her years of dance. Brian enjoys hunting, fishing, kayaking, camping, and any opportunity he can spend on the beach or in the mountains.
