As believers in Jesus Christ, our purpose is rooted in His Great Commission (Matthew 28:18–20). The command to share the gospel by making disciples of all nations was given at Christ’s departure, it was the last command He left to us and this command should remain the central priority of our lives. Yet this is not the whole story—not only does God instruct us of the necessity for proclaiming the good news, but He provides guidance on how to prepare ourselves to share it effectively.
