About Student Ministry
Through our Ascend student ministry we want to walk alongside our teens while encouraging, supporting, and equipping them to grow their identity in Christ. Colossians 3:1-2 tells us to set our hearts and minds on what’s above and not of this world. Our desire is to see teens take ownership of their faith. Our prayer for the teens is that they love God and live for Him while developing a genuine faith that will thrive beyond the teen years and remain strong and intact as adults.
Student Ministries Meeting Times:
Jr High and High School Sunday School (meeting separately) – Sundays at 9 am
Jr High and High School – Wednesday Nights from 6:15-8:30pm
High School Sunday school is being taught by Pastor Phil Congdon and will address issues of faith for teenagers. Junior High Sunday School is studying a comprehensive Bible overview course with apologetics and science and worldview training built in. The course is called Interlocked, and you can review it online at https://interlocked.online/.
Sunday Mornings 9:00-10:15am
Sunday Morning Student Bible Hour for 6th-12th Grades!
- Junior High is currently meeting in Room 104 and High School is meeting in Room 109 at 9:00 A.M. We will have refreshments and a great time in the Word!
Ascend Wednesday Night Youth meets each Wednesday 6:15-8:30pm
