About Me

Born in Galveston, Texas, Misty has lived in Texas all her life. After graduating from Bellville High School, she attended Blinn College for a year, and continued to live in Brenham until late 2004, when she moved to Abilene, Texas to be closer to her father. In 2005, she met her husband Tom Fraker and his three daughters when he was stationed at Dyess Air Force Base in Abilene. She and Tom married in 2006, then from 2007-2011 had a son and two more daughters, for a total of six children altogether. After Tom was honorably discharged from the Air Force in 2007, he accepted a position with Rackspace in Grapevine, TX. During this time, Misty earned an Associate’s degree in Business Administration in 2007, then graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BA in Visual Communications in 2008. In 2013, Rackspace transferred Tom to their headquarters in San Antonio, so the Fraker family moved from the DFW area to the San Antonio area. In December 2016, they built a home in New Braunfels and in 2019 joined New Braunfels Bible Church.

Prior to the role of church secretary, Misty was the Marketing and Media Coordinator for World Indigenous Missions, a missionary sending organization headquartered in New Braunfels. She also serves in various church ministries, including the AV team and missions committee. She looks forward to serving in her new role as secretary at NBBC.
