Vision Statement

New Braunfels Bible Church believes that the core of who we are as believers flows from the joy, challenge, and comfort of relationships. First, in our intimate personal relationship with God by faith alone in Christ alone, and secondly in caring relationships with other believers.

After the pattern of the early Church (Acts 2:46), NBBC small groups meet in home environments where believers learn, share, and fellowship together. The current structure includes men's groups, ladies' groups, and couples' groups meeting at various locations in our area.

There are things we can do for one another that we cannot do for ourselves. Believers are admonished by scripture to:

Pursue...the building up of one another (Romans 14:9);
Through love, serve one another (Galatians 5:13);
Be kind to one another (Ephesians 4:32);
Comfort one another (1 Thessalonians 4:18);
Encourage one another (Hebrews 3:13);
Stimulate one another to love and good deeds (Hebrews 10:24)
Be hospitable to one another (1 Peter 4:9); and
Beloved, let us love one another (1 John 4:7)

Therefore, we are called to one another, and ask our Lord for the wisdom and counsel of the Holy Spirit to empower and equip us through Small Group Ministry.

A Simple Message About Small Groups:
Small groups have an Upward-Inward-Outward construct and a "One-Another" biblical framework. Any questions you have, we would be delighted to answer. NBBC has a non-rigid, Spirit-led approach to small groups that we believe mirrors our DNA of GRACE (Growth, Relationships, Adoration, Caring, and Evangelism)

You may have noticed an information board on the wall toward the left side hallway (going to the restrooms). This wall contains the small group leaders' cards. Regrettably, many of these small groups are at capacity. Therefore it would be best to allow us to be your "Finding Your Small Group" representative.

We visit the Welcome Class--led by Pastor Phil Congdon--regularly. Our business cards will be available soon and will have our contact information. Until then, please feel free to introduce yourself and let us know of your interest in small groups. We would be delighted to visit with you!
