It is our desire at NBBC to provide support and encouragement to parents in their child’s spiritual development.

At NBBC we are blessed to have a loving Children’s Ministry led by volunteers.
Each loves Jesus and is committed to serving Him. They want to be a part of the Great Commission -reaching people for Jesus and training them to serve Him. They love children and love working with them.

Because we are a church that cares about your family, we see ourselves in partnership with parents as they seek to raise godly children.

NBBC’s Children’s Ministry
teaches children from birth through 5th grade

What a Sunday morning looks like for YOUR kiddo!

Nursery Care is available during Sunday School at 9:00 am and during our cooperate worship at 10:30 am. Nursery is for infant children through age 2. These classes are located downstairs in the kids wing. We will provide a safe, quiet, and gentle environment for your child. With the use of music, play time, and stories we will teach them about God’s love for them and others.

Sunday School classes take place at 9:00 am for children ages 3 through 5th grade. Through the use of age appropriate curriculum and activities, children are taught Biblical truths and of God’s love for them and others. Our classrooms provide a safe, joyful, and stimulating environment for your child.

Tune Time is for our two year olds to Pre K kiddos. They will remain in the Sunday School class they are in (or join those there). The first 20 minutes will be spent doing hands on activities to introduce the lesson before they head down to the Safari room for TUNE TIME. Story tellers, music men and fun will be presenting their sweet story of Jesus before they return to their room to dig a little deeper and enjoy a snack!

Prime Time is for our Kinder through 5th graders. They will begin in the service with their parents and then dismissed after the worship time to the KidZone, where they will have a close and rather fun look at attributes that allow our kids to live out Luke 2:52. Kids break up in small groups by age and gender. Those classes meet in classrooms. Check out the Sunday morning bulletin to see where your child is picked up.

Something to Consider

How do I know if my child should not come due to sickness?

We do not accept children who have:

A temperature within the last 24 hours
Yellow or greenish mucus from eyes or nose
Diarrhea
Been on antibiotics less than 24 hours
Have vomited within the last 24 hours

When dropping your children off, you will be asked to complete a small form that will ensure we know exactly who your child is and who may pick up your child. Our teachers and volunteers are carefully screened, and are most often the parent of a child in one of our classes.

The children meet in various classrooms throughout the morning. A map is available for current locations at the welcome center.
