To Reach the World, Part 5, The Mission   Mark 16:15; 1 Corinthians 15:1-8; 1 Peter 3:15

God has a plan to reach the world: It’s us! We are witnesses empowered by the Spirit, ‘ambassadors for Christ’ telling all that God has reconciled the world to Himself through His Son Jesus Christ. Now the time for talking is over: It’s time to act! Are you ready for your mission?

The Mission (Mark 16:15)

 

*  We go…to every person!

*  To preach = to proclaim aloud (speak!)

*  The gospel = “Good News”

The Message (1 Cor 15:1-8)

 

*  Christ died for our sins

*  Christ rose from the dead

 

The Method (1 Peter 3:15)

 

*Sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts = reverence Him!

*Be ready always to give an answer

*To anyone who asks about your hope

*Do it with gentleness and respectfully
